Online shopping –on Amazon especially– has posed a serious threat to small businesses in St. John’s. This campaign is a PR stunt with a ridiculous goal to raise and donate $18 billion dollars to Jeff Bezos Relief Fund (Amazon). With this campaign, it should encourage people to reflect on their own decisions to support Amazon over local businesses.
